ANYbotics launches the long-awaited four autonomous legged robot

 

Following several years of development, AnyBotics has today launched ANYmal C, the long-awaited four-legged autonomous robot for routine industrial inspections tasks. The first ANYmal C robots will be ready for shipment before the end of the year.

TechCrunch selects AirBie as a Top Pick for Disrupt San Francisco 2019

 

The Zug-based AirBie, the developer of a Smart Bike Lock, is among the selected early-stage startups in the 'TechCrunch Top Picks program'. As part of the prize, AirBie will exhibit at the Disrupt conference in San Francisco in 2019.

Araris obtains CHF 2.5 million after only six months of existence

 

Six months following its incorporation, Araris Biotech has closed an oversubscribed seed financing round of CHF 2.5 million from Redalpine, Schroder Adveq and VI Partners. The proceeds will flow into the development of a pipeline of proprietary antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).

Cutiss and CSEM work on a skin-tissue producing machine

 

Swiss researchers want to develop the first-ever automated machine to bioengineer personalised skin grafts for therapy. The denovoCast project, a collaboration between life science start-up Cutiss AG and CSEM, has been awarded a grant of more than CHF 800’000 by Innosuisse.
