Young Professional Program launches after successful pilot

 

The newly launched Young Professional Program organised by Future.preneurship connects young professionals and innovative companies for long-term or project-based jobs. With over 70 participants supported in the pilot edition, the program has launched the application phase for the next round. Registration closes at the end of September.

Tinamu Labs seals CHF 1.1 million seed round

Young Swiss tech companies join forces to provide treated facial masks

 

The HeiQ viroblock technology developed by the ETH Zurich spin-off HeiQ Materials is among the first textile technologies in the world to be proven effective in laboratory testing against SARS-CoV-2. Besides application by established companies such as Burberry, Lausanne based startup Red Lab is also relying on the technology for its 3D facial mask.

ETH Zurich spin-off deepCDR Biologics’ has won CHF150k from Venture Kick. The start-up provides a faster and more efficient method for the development of next-generation antibody drugs used to improve cancer therapy and treat immunological disorders and infectious diseases.

Numab Therapeutics advances to the clinical trials stage

 

Numab has kicked-off the first clinical trials for its lead immuno-oncology tri-specific drug ND021 in cancer patients at four major clinical sites across the United States and Taiwan. The study will investigate the safety and tolerability of ascending doses of its lead molecule.

Plus de 40 millions de garanties Covid aux startups

 

Depuis le début du mois de mai, les jeunes pousses prometteuses confrontées à un manque de liquidités lié à la crise du coronavirus ont pu demander des crédits de cautionnement fédéraux et cantonaux. A ce jour, près de 43 millions de francs ont été consentis à 150 startups. Les demandes peuvent encore être soumises jusqu'au 31 août.

Über 40 Millionen an Covid-Bürgschaften für Startups

 

Seit Anfang Mai können aussichtsreiche Startups, die aufgrund der Corona-Krise in einem Liquiditätsengpass stecken, Bürgschaften von Bund und Kantonen beantragen. Zugesagt wurden bisher knapp 43 Millionen Franken für 150 Startups. Die Antragsstellung ist noch bis 31. August möglich.

Agri and AI startup ready for the scale-up phase

 

EcoRobotix, provider of fully autonomous weeding robots appointed Frank Starrmann as Chief Financial Officer to support its scale-up and international development. At Starmind, current Chief Executive Officer Oliver Muhr has handed over to cofounder Marc Vontobel, who will be the acting CEO as the company undergoes a leadership transition.
