Vivior’s Visual Monitor objectively measures visual behaviour prior to vision correction interventions. The system collects daily activity data from customers and patients, processes these data in the cloud, and analyses the lifestyle patterns using machine-learning algorithms. This combination allows to understand better the needs of customers and patients and enables ophthalmic surgeons, optometrists and opticians to offer optimal personalised solutions to them.
Vivior also develops personalised spectacle, contact and intraocular lenses for vision correction in collaboration with various partners. The goal is to achieve better vision comfort for customers and patients based on the data generated by the Vivior Monitor.
With the European market secured, the start-up is rolling out its solution globally – starting with the United States. According to Mario Stark, CEO of Vivior, this step comes after the company tested its service in multiple settings and starting the market introduction. The company will sustain the expansion through partnerships with distributors, clinics and practices for a wider global reach.
Vivior has appointed John Frantzis as Chief Commercial Officer, USA. John, who has significant commercial experience in the eye care sector, was previously VP Global Sales at Avedro, Inc.
