Viopas acquires Peak Spirit

Peak Spirit has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Viopas Venture Consulting GmbH. Viopas has acquired a majority stake in Peak Spirit and Siro Gottardi will be promoted to Partner and CEO, effective immediately. Peak Spirit Founder Valentin Splett will remain a Senior Partner and advisor to the company, while transitioning into his new role as Co-CEO of ETHZ-spin-off CustomSurg.

Peak Spirit, founded in 2018, today works with over 100 ventures and accelerators per year, can simultaneously manage a multitude of market access and scale-up projects, and is connected to hundreds of domain experts globally. The company provides full-service commercial advisory to ventures and innovation professionals. Supported by the experienced VVC team Peak Spirit will expand its consulting and software offerings to the Biotech/Pharma sector.

Viopas Venture Consulting provides strategic, operational, business and finance advice to companies in the life sciences and related sectors. The team includes experiences professionals such as Simon Nebel and serial entrepreneurs Ulf Grawunder or Thomas Meier. VVC offices are located in Zürich, Basel and Munich.

Siro Gottardi is appointed as the new Partner & CEO of Peak Spirit, succeeding founder Valentin Splett, who will remain a partner and strategic advisor of the company. In addition he will join CustomSurg as Co-CEO. Furthermore, VVC Managing Partners Simon Nebel, PhD and Daniel Pajer will be joining the management team of Peak Spirit.
