Three Swiss startups among the finalists of the Fashion Innovation Award


The Fashion Innovation Award is aimed at existing companies and start-ups who have a technology or product which has the potential to widely disrupt the fashion and retail industries. Ten finalists were announced this week.


Fashion Innovation Week aims to be the foremost event in the FashionTech world, bringing together the brands, digital innovators and investors who are building tomorrow’s fashion and retail world. The week runs from March 22nd to 27th 2018 in Ticino. One of the highlights will be the award ceremony of the Fashion Innovation Award on 25 March. Three Swiss start-ups have the opportunity to win the prize.

beaconsmind AGBeaconsmind’s EINSTONE Smart Retail is an end-to-end solution for location based services in fashion retail. OSRAM and beaconsmind have come together to offer retailers the complete solution for location-based services in retail with the EINSTONE Smart Retail system.

EyeFitU’s machine learning technology matches size charts of each brand to consumers’ measurements, giving size suggestions for many different categories of garments, shoes and accessories. RealLook AG
RealLook AG is a fashion-tech company developing a scalable on-demand manufacturing technology for tailor-made apparel under the brand name Selfnation. The technology covers the complete value chain from measurement taking with a mobile phone, online POS with 3D visualisation, pattern computation, manufacturing technology to customer care system.

The Fashion Innovation Award was launched by, Loomish, a consultancy company proving digital investment consultancy services specifically within the fashion and retail industry. The award is organised for startups and young companies involved in studying and designing intelligent, digital solutions for the fashion and retail industries. The best solutions will be chosen by an international-level jury of experts and top managers from the fashion and retail world, as well as investors and academics. They identify solutions that offer the most disruptive, innovative business opportunities and which are ready to scale internationally.
