The Frost & Sullivan Technology Leadership Award goes to Nexiot

Nexiot, specializing in supply chain digitization solutions, has received the 2019 Frost & Sullivan Award for technology excellence recognizing its sensor technology and data analysis services. The award confirms the startup's position as the leading enabler of the digitized supply chain.

Launched in 2015, as a spin-off from ETH Zürich, Nexiot is a pioneer in digital supply chain management solutions. Following ten years of research into complex systems, Big Data algorithms, and ultra-low-power embedded technology, the startup developed self-powered sensors that collect data on location and environmental factors that provide insights into routes and timings at all stages across a logistics network. Data collection and analysis is achieved through collaboration with customers to help them helping them to gain new perspectives on their business and develop new service offerings that improve efficiencies and unlock additional revenue potential. “The technology behind our self-powered sensors is only one part of our strength, but it is the data we collect and analyze that adds value to our customers’ business,” said Marcel Scheurer, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Nexiot.   Nexiot has recently received the 2019 Frost & Sullivan "Technology Leadership Award" having scored best in different benchmarking criteria under the categories technology leverage and customer impact. The benchmarking criteria include Price/Performance Value, Commitment to Innovation and Creativity, Commercialisation Success, Application Diversity, and Customer Service Experience. According to Scheurer, the award confirms Nexiot's position as the leading enabler of the digitized supply chain. “We continuously research a wide range of markets across multiple sectors and geographies, and this involves extensive primary and secondary research across the entire value chain of specific products,” said David Frigstad, Chairman, Frost & Sullivan.(Press release/ran)
