Innovation and startup maps are designated databanks designed to increase startups’ and provide the audiences with insights on the new developments in various sectors. Currently, several maps, including the Swisscom FinTech map, Artificial intelligence map and Regtech map, have already been published. The Swiss Environment and Energy Innovation Monitor is now introducing Swiss Energy Startup Map to providing audiences with an overview of the Swiss Innovation landscape in energy sector.
The Swiss Energy startup Map is the first databank with a compilation of active Swiss startups and innovative companies in the environment and energy business sectors. It comprises of approximately 200 young Swiss companies that have been founded in recent years. The startups offer varying energy-related products and services ranging from the categories of mobility and efficiency to storage and production.

The energy startup map is a project of the Swiss Environment and Energy Innovation Monitor run by Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with Swisspower Innovation. The project is support by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy.
