The Swiss FinTech Awards are designed to promote regional development while helping create the strongest possible Swiss fintech ecosystem underpinned by international network links. The Awards specifically recognise outstanding Swiss based fintech startups and influencers.
Top ten startups in the two categories – “Early Stage Startup of the Year”(for startups younger than two years or have less than CHF 2.5 million in funding) and “Growth Stage Startup of the Year”(for startups older than two years or have more than CHF 2.5 million in funding) have been selected. They will participate in the fintech boot camp organised by Accenture from 10th – 11th January 2017 and will attend the speed dating event with all jury members and members of the awards supporters club on 31st January 2017.

AAAccell: established as a spin-off of the University of Zurich, AAAccell has developed a software which transforms existing portfolios into trusted solutions for financial services industry
Advanon: offers a platform that enables SMEs to pre-finance their outstanding invoices easily, quickly and transparently.
Crowdhouse: is the first Swiss online real estate crowdfunding platform that enables the public to invest in real estate.
Gatechain: the Zurich-based startup uses blockchain technology to providing solutions for trade finance based on a decentralised network which allows to seamlessly connect all participants in the trade ecosystem.
Inpher: developed a technology kit to facilitate secure search on encrypted data. Sensitive information can be searched and computed without knowing its content.
Growth Stage Startup of the Year

Arviem: Developed an intelligent sensing technology and a data analytics software to enable players in the supply chain departments to track, trace and monitor their cargo during transportation.
Bexio: Offers a business and administration software for SMEs and start-ups.
Fundbase: Web-based, integrated platform to discover, execute and monitor alternative investments
Lykke: Blockchain startup offering a platform that allows anyone to buy and sell digital currencies
Qumram: a big data platform on which any online data can be entirely and lawfully captured and subsequently retrieved.
