SwissEF's UpScaler program supports 13 startups

Since its launch in 2019, the SwissEF tailor-made UpScaler program has remained in great demand by ambitious Swiss startups seeking growth opportunities worldwide. Currently selected growth-stage start-ups inlude companies offering solutions in cleantech, ICT, Foodtech and proptech fields.

The Swiss Entrepreneurs Foundation’s (Swiss EF) Upscaler program supports growth-stage start-ups ready to scale internationally. The program offers tailor-made support to participants by assigning each to a specially selected team of experienced national and international experts and entrepreneurs. Together they work through a customised growth process to address startup’s internationalisation individual challenges. In addition to workshops and coaching sessions, the teams receive access to the Swiss Entrepreneurs Fund, other investors, and the foundation’s industry network to strengthen the supply chain and expand the customer base.

13 start-ups are currently in the program:

Evenito –developed a software tool that enables event organisers to find everything they need in one place. Customers include well-known brands such as Oracle, Swiss Life and Huawei.

Yamo ag –  is the first and only company in Europe that uses high-pressure processing for baby food.

Visium – helps Swiss enterprise clients through their AI transformation journey.

Climeworks – the ETH Zurich spin-off removes CO2 from the atmosphere. The company has generated about CHF 150 million in risk capital. The first commercial plant will start operations this year.

revendo –the smartphone-Upcycler offers an online and offline platform to buy and sell used devices.

sensopro – in addition to its lightweight devices, the Sensopro Luna and Casa, sensopro provides professionals and individuals at home with videos to guide them during their workout sessions.

Properti – offers an all-in-one platform for property sale, letting, management and valuation.

reor20 – uses high fidelity computational engineering risk analysis for natural and man-made catastrophe risks.

DHP Technology – develops solar folding roofs for increased economic, efficient use of industrial spaces such as car parks, logistics areas or sewage treatment plants.

Eldico Scientific – is a technology and service provider focusing on nano-analytical instrumentation.

Zippsafe – The foldable cloakroom compartments from Zippsafe save space and simplify digital key management. They are currently used primarily in hospitals in Switzerland and Germany.

Kido Dynamics – democratises big data to provide the most advanced insights to make cities smarter.

Ponera Group – developed a unique logistic solution based on an innovative modular system of pallets, which decreases packing costs by minimising transport and industrial packaging inefficiencies.
