As a FinTech Incubator and Accelerator, F10 supports and guides start-ups in transforming their ideas into successful companies while stimulating collaboration with international organizations. The organisation was launched in 2016 as one of the first incubators and accelerators in Switzerland by SIX and is supported today by banks, insurance companies, consulting companies and more. F10 started with the “prototype to product” program for fintech start-ups from all over the world and is today also organising hackathons and scale-up programs.
The services offered have been continuously expanded over the years. One of the latest expansion steps was the opening of a second location in Singapore. It was this continuous expansion and the bridge-building to Asia that particularly impressed the jury of the Swiss Fintech Award.
According to the press release, „F10 FinTech Incubator & Accelerator is named «Fintech Influencer of the Year» in 2020 due to its long-lasting and extensive contribution to fintech innovation in Switzerland and its expansion to Singapore.
F10 brings the Swiss expertise with a local team to the Asian FinTech hub to run the renowned P2 «Prototype to Product» Startup program there. F10 will support the entrepreneurs with a dedicated coach to develop the idea further, provide valuable tools, create exposure and enable successful partnerships. The aim in Singapore is to support pre-seed and seed-stage FinTech, RegTech and InsurTech Startups to stimulate worldwide collaboration with international organizations while giving access to the F10 ecosystem.
The program is still planned to start on 4 May. There is definitely interest in the new programme. Around 200 start-up have applied.
At the same time a new program is planned at home. The F10 Scale-up acceleration program is a 3-month program designed for ten post-revenue FinTech companies with a B2B or B2B2C model. The program contains three boot camps on-site in Zurich, where the startups will meet the F10 ecosystem and corporates that are interested in collaborating. During the boot camps, F10 will facilitate pilot workshops and masterclasses focusing on sales, fundraising, and scaling your organization. The startups will also have the possibility to raise capital from F10’s network. Start-ups can still apply for this program. Registration closes on 23 March.
