Five companies from the healthcare field and three companies from the ICT sector had been selected for this year’s Venture Day in Lugano. The event organised by Startup Invest will take place on 2 December. Thanks to the support of Agire and Boldbrain admission will be free. The event will be followed by the Boldbrain Award Ceremony.
The selected companies are:
Jurata (Zurich) - offers private individuals and SME's a simple and affordable access to justice. On the platform, users describe their legal needs and then receive up to three offers from specialised experts from Jurata’s network of lawyers.
Macu4 (Zurich) - makes innovative trendy orthopedic solutions by providing easy, fast, and gentle access to lightweight & breathable 3D printed devices. The company creates impact by affordable and personalized solutions.
Neuromaze (Allschwil) – utilizes predictive AI and digital biomarkers to disrupt early stage mental health diagnostics. The goal is to give patients an oversight of their mental health status and take action in advance in order to keep high performance and stay healthy.
Risklick (Bern) - is a data driven tool— the integration of data science, technology, and human science —to assist clinical trial designers analyze risk of their clinical trial in early stage. It helps them to optimize their protocol in short time and maximize the likelihood of success.
Sharely (Zurich) - is Switzerland’s largest sharing platform that enables everyone to have access to a great range of things, and empowers people to use them instead of owning them. Across Switzerland, Sharely already has over 43,000 active users.
Talent4gig (Zurich) - organises coding challenges that allow management of its clients to understand what their tech team does without having to understand programming. It shows them where their team is excelling and where there are opportunities for training or new positions.
Tissuelabs (Manno TI) – aims to produce human organs for transplantation. Recently the company launched TissueRay, the first masked stereolithography (MSLA) 3D bioprinter in the market. The light-based system allows the creation of microfluidic devices, organs-on-chips, cell-laden constructs, and scaffolds for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications.
Twiice (Lausanne) - is a lower limb exoskeleton that enables paraplegic people to stand up and walk again. TWIICE is a personal and modular exoskeleton, designed to be adapted to different morphologies and pathologies.
