Six startups awarded at CES Asia

 

#SWISSTECH has been once again well received in the Asian market. Six of the 21 startups in the Swiss Pavilion at CES Asia have received honorees in the CES Asia Innovation Awards for their uniqueness and outstanding design.

 

On June 11th, the CES Asia trade show will open doors to the entire tech ecosystem until June 13th. Participants will gather to build brands, forge partnerships and celebrate the best in consumer tech. The focus themes for this year show include transportation tech, AI, 5G and startups from around the world. More than 550 exhibiting companies, including 115 startups, will showcase their innovations to the audience. The Swiss Pavilion also places #SWISSTECH in the spotlight enabling startups to gain maximum exposure in the Asian market. Swissnex China and its partners will host 21 startups in the Swiss Pavilion. One of the highlights of the trade fair is the “CES Asia Innovation Awards”, which recognises startups that have outstanding design and engineering in new-to-market products across 20 categories. For this 2019 honorees, a panel of judges has bestowed honorees to 55 startups, of which six startups are from Switzerland. DynapCNN, a solution of aiCTX AG designed for neuromorphic computing for advanced signal processing in wearable medical device, won the category Artificial Intelligence and the Non-invasive health monitoring solution inCORPUS by be.care won the category Health. Spectroplast, developing a Silicone 3D Printing Solutions won the category 3D Printing; ROVéo, designed by ROVENSO for safety monitoring won the Robotics category. The award for green technologies went to the agritech startup Xfarm for its smart platform for farm management, and Tomplay, the smart audio solution for musicians developed by Tombooks out-competed contesters in the category Audio.
