Seervision expands into the Chinese market

Seervision, with its AI-based camera technology, is further expanding its presence in the Asian markets. After its distribution agreement with Japanese ASK corp, it has now won Shanghai-based Topcool to serve joint customers in the broadcasting and AV production space in China.

Seervision is developing camera automation software that simplifies and scales video production. The Seervision Suite can identify and track a person’s movements, autonomously adapting the focus, zoom and framing to produce the ideal shot. This technology enables broadcast teams to explore innovative production techniques while delivering productions with consistently high quality and significantly lower costs.

Last month, Seervision partnered with ASK Corporation to deliver video production innovation to customers in Japan, addressing the steadily growing demand in the country known for having some of the most important camera manufacturers in the world.

In further strengthening its presence in the Asian market, Seervision has partnered with Shanghai-based Topcool Media to access customers in China, a move that will enable Seervision to generate its revenue significantly. Topcool Media specialises in connecting their customers with extensive setups for large-scale video productions, from esports to concerts, as well as fully equipped mobile production vehicles. The company works alongside concert spaces and production companies across China and Southeast Asia to provide high-quality equipment and operators, ensuring that any customer’s production needs are not just met, but surpassed.

"Seervision, with its innovative AI-driven camera-automation technology, is a great asset to make large-scale video productions in China more efficient. With the help of Seervision, we will enable our customers to unlock new production scenarios and to significantly improve their production workflows through highly intelligent camera automation", says Sheng Xiaohui of Topcool.

"The Chinese market is a very exciting opportunity for us. It is a market with an abundance of highly skilled AV experts and generally a very high level of video production quality, so you need a strong product to make your mark,” states Nikos Kariotoglou, co-founder and CEO of Seervision.” “The eagerness that Topcool has shown for the Seervision Suite, particularly considering the size of the events that Topcool is involved in, has been a great motivator for us. It is also a great opportunity to demonstrate the scalability of the Seervision Suite and its potential in large-scale video productions. We are thrilled to pursue joint opportunities with the experts of Topcool and thank them for their trust in our team and our technology”, he added.

We are very excited to be working with Topcool and bringing our technology to China. With our shared passion for this technology and their expertise in the Chinese AV industry, we believe this partnership will do great things for all parties involved.
