Remarkable prizes for sustainability-drive, spots and space startups

Whether promoting sustainable consumption and healthy lifestyles or advancing biology in space, Swiss startups possess the expertise to deliver exceptional solutions. Four startups in these sectors have earned recognition in global competitions, with some receiving honorary prizes, while others secured cash awards and opportunities for acceleration program access.

The Corporate LiveWire Awards is a global competition that celebrates businesses that have transformed their industries through innovation, results-driven approaches, and exceptional performance. Out of countless companies evaluated, SOORT was recognized as the Sustainability Tech Company of the Year 2024/2025 for its commitment to sustainable shopping. The startup is dedicated to reshaping consumer habits by offering an AI shopping assistant via a mobile application to help customers find eco-friendly products and ethical shops through its web-shop, enabling them to reduce their carbon footprint. Currently, around 650 shops have been onboard on SOORT’s website.

PPRODUCER joins Nvidia Inception
Founded in 2022 in Zurich, PRODUCER empowers creators in the media production industry industries such as in-house media departments, media & entertainment, advertising, and live events with its AI-driven project management platform designed to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration and bring their visions to life with unparalleled efficiency. Currently around six content houses, production companies and media departments around the world are already using PRODUCER to optimize their content workflow. The startup has been selected to join NVIDIA Inception, a prominent program designed to support startups driving innovation and transforming industries with cutting-edge technology. The startup will obtain access to technical resources, go-to-market support, and opportunities to collaborate with leading experts in AI and innovative startups worldwide.

Alivion and BreezeLabs win prizes at ISPO Award
Two Swiss startups were awarded at the ISPO Brandnew Awards, an international competition held in Munich for startups in the sports business whose solutions meet the criteria of sustainability, design, quality, functionality and technology. Alivion scored first place in the category Performance and BreezeLabs in the e Sports Tech category. Alivion developed Nutrion, a precise breath analyzer designed to measure the current status of fat burning. With a simple breath, the device analyses specific biomarkers in the breath and provides accurate metabolic data within two minutes. The device is based on scientific research and has been specifically designed to help people better understand and optimize their fat burning.

BreezeLabs is transforming respiratory monitoring during training by using conventional headphones with an integrated microphone. Without additional devices, runners can precisely track their breathing rate and gain valuable insights into their performance. The technology is based on advanced AI that recognizes and evaluates breathing signals in real time. BreezeLabs solution appeals to both recreational athletes and professionals.

Prometheus Life Technologies receives USD 50’000
During the 75th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Milan Italy, the winners of the 3rd Humans in Space (HIS) challenge, a global space healthcare competition initiated in 2022 to gather innovative ideas to address healthcare challenges arising during space exploration and solve healthcare problems on Earth by leveraging the space environment. The program offers participants the opportunity to send their experiments to the International Space Station (ISS) for testing in an actual space environment in a period of 18 months. Swiss startup Prometheus Life Technologies, which produces high-quality organoids in space was selected in the equity investment group, securing USD 50,000 in funding and access to the HIS Accelerator Program, which provides mentorship and technical support to advance their research and prepare for space experiments.
