Climathon is a global 24-hour Hackathon, which will take place simultaneously in more than 146 cities around the world on 27 October 2017. The event brings together the challenges of the world’s cities with the people who have the ability to solve them. In Switzerland, the Climathon will again take place in Zurich under the organisation of the City of Zurich, Energie 360°, Climate-KIC and Impact Hub Zurich. Participants will gather at the new Impact Hub Zürich Space, Kraftwerk, in Selnau.

During the 24 hours, they will create new solutions for local climate change problems with focus on four main topics: energy, food, climate change adaptation and e-mobility for City Zurich and Energie 360°. Experts and mentors will support each team in their solution-finding process, before pitching their ideas in front of a local jury.

A new track for Startup
