Miles & More joins forces with GetYourGuide

Starting today, Europe's largest frequent flyer and awards programme is working in collaboration with GetYourGuide, the largest online booking platform for travel activities.

Miles & More is now offering members the opportunity to enjoy special travel experiences while earning miles. More than 31,000 tours and attractions in over 7,300 global destinations can be booked at gyg.me/milesandmore. Miles & More members will receive four award miles for every Euro spent.

‘This new partnership is the perfect addition to our travel portfolio. When people travel, they want to have experiences and create memories that they can look back on, explains Nicolas Brackmann, Director Key Account Management at Miles & More. ‘Working with GetYourGuide allows members to enjoy unparalleled experiences or arrange adventures for their friends and family while earning award miles at the same time.’

Largest loyalty program in Europe
This partnership has enabled Miles & More to expand the travel experience options it offers its members. Members of the programme can already earn and redeem miles with its airline, car rental, hotel and cruise partners.

‘Our partnership with Miles & More is a win-win: customers can now improve their in-destination experience and their mileage account simultaneously,’ says Tao Tao, founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of GetYourGuide. ‘As the largest traveler loyalty program in Europe, Miles & More's reach and brand recognition is unparalleled. We're pleased to collaborate with them to match their global network of travelers with the best activities in every destination, and in so doing, help turn their trips into amazing experiences.’

Creative last-minute gifts for Christmas
All activities booked with GetYourGuide can also be purchased in the form of a voucher for friends and family, as an original gift for their next trip. The vouchers can even be addressed directly to the recipient with a personal message – this practical gift will be a well-received surprise under the Christmas tree.
