Since the foundation in 2015, Lariot’s team has been operating from their headquarters in Thalwil, Switzerland. Today, the startup has crossing borders over to Spain in the essence of increasing its presence in Europe. A new office has been set up and will be run by the newly established team.
"We managed to assemble a versatile, professional team for the new office in Valencia, which will help to accelerate development of new applications, integration of new hardware and strengthen our technical support capabilities," said, Vit Prajzler, CEO of Loriot
The main focus of the new team is to enhance, streamline and simplify the on-premise deployment of the Network Server product. The private deployment gives the client complete autonomy and freedom of full, fine-grained control over a LoRaWAN network. Another important focus area is going to be scalability, replication, high availability and security. The goal is to supply a Network Server product that can be utilized for any size of IoT project, ranging from local networks to national roll-outs, and for any kind of vertical, including smart city, smart building, smart agriculture, and Industry 4.0.
Nicolas Beaudoin, VP of Business Development at Loriot, was appointed to lead the Valencian operations. "Valencia is a perfect choice for Loriot. Spain is a promising market for the deployment of LoRaWAN projects. We plan to build up a local competency center and leverage our knowledge and experience to pursue synergies with local companies to deliver full vertical solutions based on LoRaWAN. Our long term goal is to engage local businesses and start-ups in our worldwide business operations, especially in the LATAM region." concluded Beaudoin.
