LARI joins NVIDIA’s inception program

NVIDIA has selected the AI start-up LARI for Its inception program. The virtual accelerator provides every start-up with a custom set of on going benefits, from hardware grants and marketing support to training with deep learning experts.

NVIDIA Corporation is one of the largest developers of graphics processors and chipsets for personal computers and game consoles. The company with a revenue of $4.7 billion is today active in four attractive markets: gaming, VR, AI, and self-driving cars. Its inception program nurtures dedicated and exceptional start-ups who are revolutionizing industries with advances in AI and data science.

Recently a Swiss start-up was selected for the program. LARI is an AI startup active in the legal and reg tech fields. The goal is to increase workflow productivity of corporate legal departments who are under constant time and financial pressure. Companies are subject to complex systems of laws and regulations. They need to identify and understand changes in these systems at an early stage and ensure compliancy of their workflows.

The first product of the start-up, called LARI too, is a SaaS monitoring the legal and regulatory landscape, collecting information and providing clear, comprehensive, structured, and actionable reporting on regulatory changes. CEO Edouard Schaerer explains: “We create an efficient and effective method to determine which laws and regulations have changed - arrange them in groups that are relevant to our customers and show the relationships between the rules - so that the impact that one change have on another can be pursued”.

The project was started by Edouard Schaerer and Martin Wolf at the beginning of 2017 and they recently founded the company. In the meantime the technical team grew to 5 engineers and the company is constantly looking for new talents. LARI is developed in a close collaboration with two strategic partners, important players on the Swiss insurance market.

Commenting on the partnership with NVIDIA Schaerer says: “At LARI we share a mission with NVIDIA - we want to solve today's complex problems with technology. LARI’s focus is on legal and reg tech. The partnership with NVIDIA is providing us access to hardware, know-how and a network of experts that will support the realisation of our vision - bring artificial intelligence to legal and compliance departments around the world.”
