Guuru raises 800K to rollout in the DACH region


Guuru offers cloud based services that enable brand ambassadors to provide live-chat support to new and prospective customers of a company. The startup has raised CHF 800’000 in further funding to facilitate expansion in the DACH region.


The Zurich based startup provides solutions that enable companies to outsource customer service and sales support. With Guuru, brand ambassadors answer specific product-related questions from potential customers and share their experience with a product through a one-on-one live chat on a company website. For each submitted question, a proprietary algorithm finds the perfect guuru within seconds, which allows for faster response to customers’ queries and hence accelerating their purchasing decision process. At the end of the dialog, the guuru is compensated based on the user’s rating.

Companies on the other hand can monitor every chat, view aggregate data and download custom reports at any time. Thanks to Guuru, they reduce up to 50% support costs, expand their customer services with a 24/7 on-demand live support from existing product users, and win new customers.

Following their successful concept validation with SKY and BRACK.CH Guuru is now ready to roll-out in Germany and Austria. The startup has raised CHF 800’000 in further funding, led by QDN Partners followed by and selected business angels. The funds will be used to smoothly execute the company’s expansion plans.
