Enterprise Bot
Founded in 2017, Enterprise Bot is recognized as the world's first embedded conversational AI platform for enterprises. With Pranay Jain as CEO & co-founder, the Zurich-based startup, Enterprise Bot, has achieved significant milestones since its inception. The startup secured its first customer with only a business concept, implemented generative AI ahead of competitors, and reached 10 million conversations, marking their transition from a startup to a scale-up. It has expanded globally, partnering with industry giants such as Generali, Swica, ÖBB, and dubai. The company is planning further expansions in Europe and Asia and aims to partner with industry giants like Genesys and Salesforce. Enterprise Bot's success is attributed to its innovative technology, strategic timing, and ability to build trust with customers, as the CEO emphasized in his story.
Superlab Suisse AG
Life science projects require expensive laboratory infrastructure, and maintenance costs a lot of time away from the actual scientific work. Recognizing this need, Superlab Suisse SA, was founded in 2020 by Xi Zhang to support scientists by providing them with serviced ready to move-in laboratories with shared facilities on flexible terms. Thanks to standardization, Superlab ensures speed and flexibility at reasonable cost and for various needs. The first Superlab with 1’500 square meters space was opened in 2021 in Lausanne followed by a 5000 square meter laboratory space in Basel. The company, however, aims to build Superlab locations in other life science clusters worldwide starting with Zurich followed by Geneva, London, and Boston. Behind Superlab is a team of four employees led by CEO and co-founder Xi Zhang who shared her ambitions with SEF.Growth.
Lyfegen HealthTech
Lyfegen is a pioneering scale-up that provides a rebate management calculator for health insurers, aiming to optimize the pricing and rebates of expensive, patent-protected medications. The startup operates in seven countries and has built a comprehensive library of case studies and contract models, illustrating the necessary data points to determine success criteria like progression-free survival for cancer therapies. With the world's most sophisticated simulator, drug pricing models can be evaluated to speed up or enable access to medication at more affordable costs for premium payers and patients. In the past five years, the company has expanded its drug pricing agreements from 20 drug pricing models to over 200 today. With a strong team of 33 employees and a focus on data security, Lyfegen secured Series A funding and now received the SEF.Growth label, driving its growth and market validation. Voliro
Voliro AG has achieved significant success in developing advanced aerial robotics for industrial inspections and maintenance tasks, particularly in hard-to-reach areas. Unlike traditional drones, the one by this ETH spinoff features a unique 360° design with tiltable rotors, allowing them to approach, touch, and interact with their environment. Moreover, The drones are equipped with automated flight modes and AI-assisted autonomy, making them effective even in GPS-denied environments. The technology has been deployed for r major clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors. The idea for Swibeco emerged around 2014 when founder Ivan Brustlein worked for a technology consulting firm. Inspired by the extensive benefits offered by French employers, Ivan recognized the potential for a structured and comprehensive offering in Switzerland. Starting as a side hustle, he created a business plan resulting in the founding of Swibeco, a leading digital platform for employee benefits in Switzerland. Swibeco’s growth story includes the acquisition of "BenefitsForYou" in 2019 and winning AXA as a strategic investor and partner, which accelerated growth. The startup boasts a Net Promoter Score of 67 and successfully onboarded numerous hotels during the COVID-19 pandemic.
