The Zurich based startup is dedicated to automating carbon accounting in the food industry. Using advanced algorithms and machine learning, the startup provides accurate data to empower food manufacturers track and reduce CO2 emissions from their products.
Authena and Witty Works join 10. Cohort of LVMH Accelerator
After winning the LVMH Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton prize in the categiry Operations Excellence at VivaTech earlier this year, Authena, provider of authentication solution to protect brands fro counterfeits, has been selected to join the 10th cohort of the LVMH Startup Accelerator 'La Maison des Startups'. Also selected from 1545 applications is Witty Works, the startup which developed the first and most effective AI-augmented tool to that analyzes text and highlights non-inclusive language in real time to increase diversity in talent attraction. The startups will participate in the one-year program, based at STATION F in Paris, benefiting from access to high profile fashion brands.
Zatap (CollectID) among startups eyeing a €10k prize
After 16 selected businesses showcased their products during the 2024 Euroleague Basketball FanXP Online Qualifier on July 10, eight projects have advanced to the playoff phase. Zatap, formerly CollectID is one the selected companies contesting to win a spot at SPORTBIZ EUROPE: Barcelona Edition in October and a €10,000 prize to invest in implementing the solution within the esteemed environments of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and BKT EuroCup. Zatap connects physical merchandise products with the digital dimension to create direct-to-consumer interactions, helping brands and sports teams better monetize their customer base.
Recoal selected for remove 5-month accelerator
Recoal, which transforms waste biomass into negative-emission coal, is one for the companies selected for the second phase ‘remove accelerator program’. During the next 5-months, the startups will address key areas crucial to the success of CDR initiatives and entrepreneurship, including policy insights, life cycle assessment, fundraising strategies, and intellectual property management.
Clever Forever Foundation (CatnClever) wins Tools Competition
CatnClever is the winner of the 2023-24 Tools Competition by The Learning Agency, selected from 1900 applications. The company’s first product, the CatnClever app for preschool children and combines interactive exercises. With this recognition, the program will leverage Generative AI to culturally adapt CatnClever for underserved regions in North Africa and South America. “Our mission has always been to provide quality education to children worldwide, and this award brings us one step closer to achieving that goal. With the power of Generative AI and through partnerships with local experts, we can tailor our content to reflect the unique cultural contexts of these vibrant regions, making learning more relatable and impactful for young minds”, said the startup.
