Deep-tech startup supporters go global

Trust Square AG and The Hashgraph Association (THA) are joining forces to support blockchain and deep-tech startups globally. Similarly, accelerator QAI Ventures expanded to Canada through a partnership with Quantum City to facilitate quantum and advanced AI startups’ access to the North-American and European markets.

Trust Square AG, Zurich's leading innovation hub fostering collaboration, idea generation and technological advancement of blockchain and deep-tech solutions, and The Hashgraph Association (THA), an independent non-profit organization focused on building a vibrant innovative ecosystem for startups, enterprises, and government institutions around the world, have signed a strategic partnership to support innovative deep tech entrepreneurs and enterprises. This partnership will provide entrepreneurs with facilities, tools, and technologies, to develop game-changing deep-tech solutions, leveraging the convergence of AI, Blockchain/DLT, Robotics, IoT, VR, and Quantum Computing.  

The first remnants of this joint project is the launch of Trust Square coworking innovation space at the iconic Brannhof in Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse. Next, deep-tech venture studio-hubs are planned to be built around the world, taking the strategic partnership between THA and Trust Square to the international stage. Kamal Youssefi, President of THA , affirms these plans highlighting that : beyond Switzerland this partnership will allow the two organisations to expand into the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.  THA and Trust Square plan to offer joint initiatives such as events and meetups to connect startups, investors, corporates, and academia. Both THA  and Trust Square intend to build hubs globally while supporting enterprise use cases and creating innovation events.  

QAI Ventures Expands Globally
QAI Ventures supports  early-stage quantum and advanced AI startups worldwide. Its startup accelerator program in Arlesheim, Switzerland provides entrepreneurs with access to cutting-edge technology, expert guidance, and tailored mentorship, supporting them throughout their journey - from the lab to the market and pre-IPO. Qai Ventures has joined forces with Alberta-based Quantum City, an organization established by the University of Calgary, Government of Alberta and a leading technology company Mphasis. Founded in 2022 Quantum Cityis building an ecosystem for quantum science and technology, uniting researchers, developers, industries, and adopters of quantum technology and services. 

The strategic alliance between QAI Ventures and Quantum City will mark a significant milestone in advancing quantum technology startups on a global scale by facilitating their access to both the North American and European markets. To initiate this collaboration, QAI Ventures and Quantum City intend to launch a project to lay the foundation for quantum science and technology advancements, which will allow startups to utilize the advantages of the two industry locationsto further develop their technologies in addition to receiving investment . The first program of the new QAI Ventures Canada will kick off its first cohort in early 2025 in Alberta at Quantum City. Early-stage quantum startups from all over the world are already encouraged to submit their applications for either accelerator location (Calgary or Basel) here
