c.technology closes another financing round

The Zurich-based startup c.technology providing IoT solutions for boats and motorcycles has successfully closed a financing round with private investors. The mobility SaaS startup will use the funds for its growth acceleration.

Through c.technology AG, cloud and vehicle services entered the world of powersports vehicles for the first time, closing the gap to the automotive industry, where connectivity is already much more prevalent. The company’s SaaS solution allows powersports vehicle-manufacturers and professionals to connect vehicles to the c.technology cloud using their proprietary hardware thanks to the modular approach and the open APIs. The gathered data delivers manufacturers with relevant insights for monitoring and analytics, allowing them to provide added services to their customers via a custom mobile app and web dashboard.

As of July this year, more than 400 motorsports vehicles have already benefited from the company's market-specific data processing capabilities and software applications. The startup's rapid growth has put it on the radar of industry OEMs, resulting in both initial trials this year and tangible collaborations starting in 2022. Thus, it is very feasible that boats and motorcycles equipped with Swiss software technology will soon be cruising all over the world. The obtained funds from private investors will enable c.technology to achieve this goal. The funds will also facilitate the company's expansion plans, which will be scaled through the upcoming partnerships.

"We are grateful for the trust our investors have put in us. With this investment, we enter a new year well-funded to focus on growth acceleration, especially with larger customers from the (powersports) vehicle OEM sector. We are currently discussing collaboration opportunities for next year with renowned players," says Christian Fehr, Co-Founder and CEO of c.technology.
