BestMile is raising the business to the next level with Microsoft

Microsoft has selected a new batch of 11 later-stage startups from eight countries for its ScaleUp program in Berlin. Among them is the Lausanne based startup BestMile.

Microsoft ScaleUp (formerly Microsoft Accelerator) is a four-month acceleration program designed to help enterprise-ready startups to bring their product even closer into line with customer requirements and raise their business to the next level.

A new batch comprising of 11 startups from eight European countries including Switzerland, France, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Austria, the Netherlands, and Finland, has joined the program in Berlin.

The EPFL spin-off, Bestmile represents Switzerland. Recently, BestMile was crowned the second best startup of the Top 100 Swiss startup for its innovative mobility software solution, which facilitates management and fleet optimization of autonomous or conventional human-driven vehicles. The platform is already used by a number of customers around the world. Participation in Microsoft’s Scale up program is a springboard for the startup to reach greater heights.

Microsoft will provide coaching and work with the founders on their growth strategies – with the help of co-selling, access to Microsoft’s international sales and partner network and to the Azure cloud platform without taking shares in exchange. In doing so, Microsoft is promoting technological progress and entrepreneurship for digitization for all. During the Corporate Access-Event at the end of the program, the startups will pitch their solution to large organizations from the Microsoft network.
