Green business awards nominees
Every year, the Green Business Award recognizes companies that combine ecological impact with economic success and thus shape the future of a sustainable economy. This year, 37 companies, including up-and-coming scale-ups and large companies, were nominated. The nominees offer diverse solutions including mushroom-based natural foam, or a sewing thread that dissolves completely when exposed to water, pressure and heat and several solutions for the energy sector.

The selection process takes place in a unique, multi-stage procedure; after about 40 partner organizations have submitted their nominations, a preliminary jury awards the five best solutions with the “Green Business Excellence” label. These five companies will be invited to present their solutions to the main jury chaired by Doris Leuthard, former Federal Councilor and President of the Green Business Award jury. The winner will be presented at the Impact Circle Event in Gstaad on February 13, 2026.
