Das Wädenswiler Startup MIRAI FOODS hat als erstes Schweizer Unternehmen Rindfleisch im Labor gezüchtet. Das Ergebnis sind vier Miniburger mit echtem Fleisch aus tierischen Zellen. Erste Investorinnen und Investoren haben die Burger schon verkostet.

The first edition of the Luxury Innovation award is coming to the end. The jury has nominated eight finalists that will present their innovations during the award ceremony on 27 August in Geneva. Among the finalists are five Swiss startups in four categories.

Neurimmune’s therapy against Alzheimer’s closer to approval

 

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted Biogen’s Biologics License Application and granted priority review for the approval of aducanumab as a treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. If approved, aducanumab would be the first treatment with the potential to meaningfully change the course of Alzheimer’s disease.
