The program educates interested business angels in all facets of becoming a Startup Board Member. This is especially important as successful startups need strong boards of directors who understand how early-stage companies grow and develop.
The program is structured in 5 sessions and will be held from 2 to 6 PM on the following dates: October 31st, November 10th, November 21st, December 4th and December 14th. The venue is kindly provided by our hosting partner, Zürcher Kantonalbank.
Dr. Matt Lanfear, Restructuring and Turnaround Advisor, Business Angel and participant in the 2017 Startup Board Academy training offers this testimonial.
“The programme content is highly relevant and focused on the real-world issues facing startups, spanning governance, finance, legal and operational matters. It provides insight into what one should evaluate prior to taking on a board position at a startup and what is required of an effective board member. Furthermore, it provided a great opportunity to network with and learn from a diverse group of fellow participants – entrepreneurs, board members, advisors and investors.”
