The event features an experienced entrepreneur from your region:
Simon Breitler, COO and Co-Founder at Eracal Therapeutics, was born and raised in Switzerland where he studied chemistry at the ETH Zurich. Following the successful completion of his graduate studies at ETH, he moved to Harvard University as a Swiss National Science Foundation postdoctoral fellow. In 2016, he started as a laboratory head in the preclinical Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (pCMC) at F. Hoffmann–La Roche, where together with his team he was responsible for synthetic optimizations and preclinical supplies of therapeutic oligonucleotides and small molecules. In 2019, he made the jump from large pharma to the entrepreneurial world and, together with Josua Jordi, co-founded EraCal Therapeutics, a spin-off of Harvard University and the University of Zurich, where he is currently leading the development of a next-generation anti-obesity drug.
