The event organised by Technopark Winterthur and Euresearch is intended for Swiss companies & innovators that would like an overview of different funding opportunities within Horizon Europe, including Swiss transitional measures.

Switzerland can continue to participate in the European research and innovation funding program Horizon Europe. The Federal Council has just decided on transitional measures for the „EIC Accelerator“ part of the program. Other parts of Horizon Europe are still accessible for Swiss companies. More on this in our recent news article.

For SMEs and startups, it remains a big challenge to find out which programs you can apply for funding for your project. That’s why we are offering guidance to those interested with this event. The two speakers from Euresearch will first explain the basics of collaborative projects, innovation funding and the Swiss substitute measures and then point out the correct procedure for participating in the various programs. Then, Alexander Paramythis will present sci-fund.ai  – a software-as-a-service – platform to semantically explore research programmes and calls in order to quickly and easily identify forthcoming research funding opportunities. Afterwards, there will be enough time for specific questions.

Speakers:
Dr. Stefan Fischer, Euresearch NPC for SME;
Dr. Florian Berner, Euresearch Company Advisor Zurich Region
Dr. Alexandros Paramythis, CEO Contexity AG, Winterthur

Euresearch is a non-profit organisation that supports the participation of researchers, companies and organisations in Switzerland in European programmes related to research and innovation.
