Hong Kong lies at the heart of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. Home to 15 Fortune-500 companies generating almost a trillion USD in revenue, it is already a global leader in finance, insurance and technology. At 6pm on September 25th, The Honourable Bernard Charnwut Chan will reveal his unique insights on the Bay Area project, and its economic implications for Switzerland’s banking and insurance sectors.

Bernard Charnwut Chan is the President of Asia Financial Holdings and its main subsidiary, Asia Insurance. Appointed by Carrie Lam in July 2017, he is the highest-ranking official representing banking and insurance in Hong Kong. He serves as Convenor of the Non-official Members of the Executive Council.
