The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) is the premier global competition for students who own and operate a business while attending college or university (including Swiss “Fachhochschule”). Student entrepreneurs compete against their peers from around the world in a series of local and/or national competitions in hopes to qualify for the EO GSEA Finals. GSEA is an Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) program.On 31 January, students from Swiss universities will present their ideas to the selection jury and the winner will qualify for the Global final in Cape Town in April 2020. They will additionally win a cash prize up to CHF 30.000 and gain access to the unique network and joint experience of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) the sponsor of the competition. EO is the largest international peer-to-peer network exclusively for entrepreneurs. The founders of several well-known Swiss startup companies are or have been members of the Zürich and Romandy Chapters of EO.
